Saint-Arneault fries are delicious Quebec products.

Saint-Arneault products currently come from four Quebec regions: Lanaudière, Montérégie, Île d’Orléans and Centre-du-Québec.

In order to ensure part of its supply and be able to develop new products, Saint-Arneault also purchased some land between 2016 and 2018. This is how Quali-Ferme was born.

Quali-Ferme inc.

Located in Sainte-Marie-Salomé (near the city of Joliette) and spanning over 1 600 acres, the farm is linked to Michel St-Arneault inc. since 2012. Built in 2018, the current installations also include a frozen potato warehouse tasked to supply the plant until the availability of the fall harvest. The farm stores more than 40 000 000 pounds of potatoes.

By cultivating and producing part of our potato supply ourselves, we can ensure strict quality control more than ever before. Our farm also allows us to certify that our production is ethical and compliant with the company’s quality standards and values.

We also conduct tests at the farm to discover new efficient varieties for the plant and the various producers. Quali-Ferme inc. can count on valuable experienced employees and the expertise of an agronomist who has been working with Michel St-Arneault inc. for more than 20 years.

Growing interest in self-culture

The constantly increasing demand, yield, flexibility, and advantages of collaborating with Quali-Ferme inc., motivate both businesses to increase their production. This is why the Saint-Arneault and Quali-Ferme inc. teams remain alert for any opportunity to acquire new farmland.
